Net neutrality was the first step towards the TPP.
Which the TPP has very little to do with trade, and more to do with copyright laws after the TPP was introduced by Hollywood.
Hollywood want the US government and other governments that don't have control of the Internet to stop copyright in-figment.
But what they didn't tell you that anyone can use the TPP agreement to stop your 1st amendment right(if you live in the US) at anytime, and you would have to go through a UN court to get them back(good luck with that).
That is why Hollywood wanted net neutrality, and even made commercials saying how net neutrality pooped rainbows.
