Laundry Tips
Here are some more tips that will help with laundry:
- If you buy some new clothes. Soak them in cold water in a sink by themselves for 24 hours before washing them to get the chemicals and dyes out.
- Tried of doing the color separation? Well if you do tip #1 you can skip the color separation and change to type separation.
Separate clothes according to type for example: - Human clothes.
- Towels and wash cloths.
- Blanks and sheets.
- Pillows and misc.
- Blanks and sheets can add up to more than half of your laundry, and have the biggest surface area. So rather than putting your blanks and sheets in the dyer you can hang them out. Remember to fold blanks and sheet when letting them dry. Suggest folding blanks and sheets only twice.
- Don't put pre-pressed jeans like dockers in the dyer. Also hang pre-pressed jeans to dry.
- After the wash is done, run the clothes through a drain & spin cycle if you can. Your clothes will be much easier to dry for the dyer.
- Ditch the cloth baskets for 40 Qt. cylinder plastic baskets. The cylinder plastic baskets are much easier to handle, and you can just pour a whole filled basket right in to your washer for one load.
Also males do laundry too.
